Investigator - Transforming Middle School Science Achievement using
Instructional Technology grant
to determine the effectiveness of a science teaching professional development
program. An evaluation protocol was designed to determine the level of increase
in teachers’ science content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge as they
integrated instructional technology in their science lessons through pre- and
post-assessments and interviews. Additionally, the evaluation protocol was
designed to determine the level of increase in student achievement in science as
one measure of success. Funded by the
