Principal Investigator - Transforming Middle School Science Achievement using Instructional Technology  grant to determine the effectiveness of a science teaching professional development program. An evaluation protocol was designed to determine the level of increase in teachers’ science content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge as they integrated instructional technology in their science lessons through pre- and post-assessments and interviews. Additionally, the evaluation protocol was designed to determine the level of increase in student achievement in science as one measure of success. Funded by the Nevada Collaborative Teacher Improvement Program - $113,724.00 (2005).

 

Principal Investigator - Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology (PT3) mini-grant for designing and delivering a science and technology summer camp for elementary students. Funded by the Pennsylvania Academy for the Profession of Teaching and Learning - $6,000.00 (2004).

 

Principal Investigator - Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology (PT3) mini-grant focused on the development of a “Science Problem of the Week” website. Funded by the Pennsylvania Academy for the Profession of Teaching and Learning - $2,000.00 (2003).

 

Principal Investigator - Margin of Excellence Grant that focused on the “Development of Model Teaching and Leaning Strategies for the Integration of Web-Based Technology in Elementary Science.” Funded by the Bloomsburg University Foundation for $4,860.00 (2003).
